Povzetek

Pričujoča seminarska naloga, posvečena odmevu reformacijskega gibanja in njegovih predstavnikov v slovenski in evropski literaturi v kasnejših zgodovinskih obdobjih, vsebuje nabor leposlovnih del, ki prikazujejo dogajanje na slovenskih in tujih tleh v obdobju reformacije, obnove in interpretacije teh del in mestoma potrebno zgodovinsko ozadje.

Abstract

The following paper, devoted to the influence of the Reformation Movement and its representatives in Slovenian and European literature in later historical periods, contains a set of (more or less) fiction works that depict the events on the Slovene and foreign grounds during the period of reformation, and, moreover the reconstruction and interpretation of these works, provided with a historical background where the latter is needed. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact that reformation has had on European thinking and mentality long after its decline, as well as the reflection of the latter in literature throughout Europe to this day.

In the beginning of the paper we present Martin Luther as the pioneer of the World Reformation Movement and Primož Trubar as the pioneer of the Slovene Reformation Movement, with a view of better understanding the explanations and interpretations of literary works that are assessed below. The works are arranged in alphabetical order based on authors' surnames. Under the title of each work the place and year of publishment are listed, followed by some of the basic characteristics of the work, such as literary genre, literary type, and external form. For some more recent works, a personal opinion/criticism of the student is also given.

In the later periods, we also encounter the phenomenon of reformatory thoughts and ideas in writers who are not of protestant beliefs, and their consequences are felt in a changed view of religion and the questions about its teachings, its principles and its functioning.
